Summary: Cricket has been part of Bradley Hatchett’s life since he was seven years old when he started at his club St James. He is now currently captain of the Sussex League side’s first team at the age of nineteen! He is a top order batsman and fancies himself as an off spinner! Throughout his youth career Bradley was involved in the Sussex set up, unfortunately failing to continue on further with the county at seventeen due to a bad injury.
However, Bradley was offered a job at Sussex in 2008 to help with community coaching team and has never looked back. During his time with the county, he has performed varying roles and duties in different environments. These range from coaching elite players, children in social deprivation, primary and secondary schools or the mentally and physically handicapped. He has also been fortunate enough to spend 5 months playing and coaching in Adelaide, Australia, where he played grade cricket and coached at Adelaide Oval.
